Can a transaction with a business that accepts Mastercard fail?

1. The transaction will fail if the old white card is used with a retailer that only accepts our solutions through the Mastercard network

All the businesses listed in our search engine automatically accept the new red Edenred card but not necessarily the old white card.

2. The transaction may fail if the retailer does not have a contract with Edenred

To accept the Edenred card, businesses that are part of the Mastercard network must sign a contract. Businesses have a right to not accept the Edenred card. It should be noted that we only sign contracts with businesses that are able to accept our solutions.
