I wanted to use my consumption vouchers but another voucher was used. Why is this?

Some payment terminals allow the merchant to select the type of voucher you want to use. If the merchant does not have that kind of terminal, we will automatically choose the voucher that expires first. That way, we limit the risk that one of your unused vouchers expires.

E.g.

You have EUR 500 in Consumption Voucher Edenred valid until 31/12/2022 and you also have EUR 100 in Ticket Restaurant valid until 01/12/2022 on your Edenred card. You go to a restaurant and pay the bill with your Edenred card. When it’s time to pay, the retailer’s payment terminal does not offer a choice of voucher to be used. As your Consumption Voucher Edenred is valid longer that your Ticket Restaurant, your bill will automatically be deducted from your Ticket Restaurant account.

Good to know

The Consumption Voucher Edenred has the specific feature of enabling all the purchases that you can make with other Edenred solutions:

  • Food purchases – like with Ticket Restaurant
  • Food purchases – like with Ticket Restaurant
  • Purchases for pleasure (fashion, cosmetics, games, Hi-Fi, travel, etc.) – like with Ticket Compliments

  • Purchases of entry tickets, sports subscriptions, books, etc. – like for Ticket Sport & Culture.
