How to manage your mobile notification settings?

There are 2 levels of consent to combine in order to receive all our communications via mobile notifications.

  • Phone settings (system): allow the app to send notifications.
  • Settings in the MyEdenred app: choose which categories to receive (Marketing vs Operational).

Scenario 1: If I allow mobile notifications at the phone level and both categories are enabled in the MyEdenred app, what exactly will I receive?
Answer: You will receive all notifications:

  • Marketing: promotions, offers, and news.
  • Operational: balance updates, transaction confirmations/alerts.

Scenario 2: I have enabled notifications in the MyEdenred app, but they are denied in the phone settings. What happens?
Answer: No notifications will be sent. Without system permission for notifications, the app cannot send any notifications regardless of its configuration.

Scenario 3: If I disable Marketing notifications in the MyEdenred app but allow notifications in the phone settings, what will I receive exactly?
Answer: Only operational notifications (balance and transactions) will be sent. Marketing notifications remain disabled via the app settings.

Tip
If you do not receive any mobile notifications, start by allowing notifications in your phone settings, then check the categories in the MyEdenred app.
